Catholic Family Services
Therapists are master's level social workers, some Master’s level trained staff with degrees in psychology or family therapy. Range of services include individual, couples, family, group, children (has specific services for physical and sexual abuse victims). Sliding scale from $15 - $60 based upon financial need. No one is turned away based on finances. Thus, will see clients who cannot pay anything. Waiting list of approximately 2 weeks. Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) (Toronto)
an Ontario public hospital committed to providing comprehensive and accessible care for people who have mental health and/or addiction problems. A wide range of clinical programs, support, and rehabilitation services are provided at various locations throughout Ontario. Note, though, that each program has a different way to make referrals and admissions. The procedures depend on the services provided and your clinical needs. 416 535-8501 (Main switchboard).

Family Services Association (Toronto)
offers individual, family, and couples therapy. Therapists are social workers with Masters level training. Cost ranges from $10 to $90 depending on income. Wait list for daytime appointments is 1 week, 6-8 weeks for evening appointments. 416 595-9618.
Freedom from Fear Outreach
offers information on fears, anxiety disorders, phobias and related depression, referrals to support group meetings and other services in the community, advocacy and awareness outreach. (416) 761-6006.

St Joseph's Health Centre (Toronto West)
has a Community Mental Health Centre which offers psychiatric day treatment, consultation, shared care service and groups. (416) 530-6591.
START Clinic (Toronto) Dr. Martin Katzman, Psychiatrist.
Must be referred by a family doctor and you will have a consultation with Dr. Katzman, psychiatrist. In addition to medication consultation this clinic offers individual and group programs for anxiety available. Three to four month waitlist. (416) 598-9344.
Sunnybrook and Women's College Health Sciences Centre (Toronto)
offers many programs for adults 16 years or older , for example: Brief Psychotherapy Group for Women offers individual and group psychotherapy, 16-20 sessions. 1 year waiting list. 416-591-2000. WRAP: Women Recovering from Abuse. This is an 8 week group program, for women who suffered sexual abuse or neglect as children and are struggling with the emotional aftermath. 416-323-6400 ext. 4863. There are also programs for people with severe, persistent mental illness. Priority is given to persons with schizophrenia, bipolar disorder and other psychiatric disorders. (416) 480-4611.
